That Radio-Flyer that I’d had my heart set on
Is now little more than just another thing that I’ve refused to left go of.
But I’ll live and breath by the hand of my childhood, not anymore.
On Earth, there’s sentient shadows giving hope;
I’ve watched the topsoil-iest of all the hayseeds watch their
False sun rise, and then explode.
Now I’m aching to feed from the hands of my lover;
That ghastly and now ghostly god who brought me life so long ago.
How like the lazy blood of love to refuse to see the comic denouement.
On Earth, the sentient shadows march in throngs,
I used to call them Satan until scientism made that wrong.
And left me riding all alone.
On Earth there’s something awful’s taken hold.
It took my friends down to Assholetown and left me riding all alone,
Na Na Na Na Nananana, Na Na Na Na.

Move On!

Looking on as the planet fauns over its fate today and its fuckin’
great how if you ask it how, it’ll show you how.
Looking on as the coming dawn defends on all those men and their awful hands.
By now they know its on, and that we’re coming strong.
Now I’m looking at all the days that I thought the Earth was doomed,
Mornings where I thought the planet wouldn’t make it to the afternoon,
And that these days come as no surprise
doesn’t make it compatible,
doesn’t make it alright.
And so to all of you I do explore,
For we are coming strong like we never did before
For frankly I am done with being doomed
And now you get to decide if you wanna stay doomed too.
Move On!
Looking on as the coming dawn descends on all those men and their awful hands,
By now they know its on and that we’re coming strong.
Move On!

I’ll never forget the sun of California,
The sky and the wind, where my feelings were a friend.
We all were there; those days in California.
We all had fun; Vacationed in the sun.
I won’t laugh, I won’t play dumb.
Why aren’t you calling on the phone to come?
Everyone will see us apart,
And its breaking breaking breaking breaking,
Breaking my heart.
All Summer long, I never wanna see if end
[Never see it end}
All Summer long,
I never wanna see it end.
I won’t forget
Just how we met
Played in the sun
In love with everyone.
I won’t laugh, I won’t play dumb.
Why aren’t you calling on the phone to come?
Everyone will see us apart,
And its breaking breaking breaking breaking,
Breaking my heart.
All Summer long, I never wanna see it end [Never see it end]
All Summer long, I never wanna see it end.

Thinking of the love I'd found
In that thought, I Cried - Woo!

The Wave that came And fixed my brain
Has gone, I’ve found my way again
And some soon dawn, I’ll be gone
But in my place, my love remains
Won’t let it fade
As we suffer the change into something rich and strange
Then on and on, back into the sun I’m going. Go!
Noticing how worn and soft the walls around my heart have got
I’ve gone and made a friend against my former thoughts and better sense
And now I’ve come to dish.
Come hear my only wish.
May Love find your homes,
May your waves stay strange but calm.
